About Site Updates.

Posted on February 23, 2010 at 1:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello Everyone!,

I've been slowly updating the site here on "The Pagan Heretic" http://thepaganheretic.webs.com as time allows.

We have "fan" pages/groups on a few of the most popular social networking sites, Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter. you can find links to them on our site under the "About this Site/Contact" link. and also, towards the bottom of the main home page the links are provided there as well.

So, go check them out, become a "fan", join up for the groups, friend us, and follow our Tweets on Twitter. And help us social network and get the word out.

I've installed the FAQ app provided by webs.com and listed Q&A's from a couple FAQs online that I've always liked and thought were well written.

I've also installed the "Meebo IM" App. provided by webs.com - so if you are ever on the site and another member is logged in you can IM them in real time and communicate. I haven't messed with it myself, but in the description where I added it to the site it says you can use the Meebo IM app to communicate with you other friends on AIM, Facebook, and Myspace IM as well.

I've tried my best to get the site out there, making facebook pages, and myspace groups, and posting the link on the religion and philosophy forum of myspace, and on Twitter, and even made a promo video on youtube.com. I've invited everyone I could think of who I thought could benefit from this site/web page. but so far we still only have 5 members. it's sad. this site has a lot of potential, i've evensubmitted the URL for review on yahoo, google, and bing, in hopes of getting some returns on searches.

so I'm putting you all in charge, if you have a social networking acct. and know friends who may benefit from this site then send them a link and let them know about it. E-mail people, if you are a member of other "sites" here on webs.com let those friends on there know about this site, and help me network and get new members, I'd like to see this site expand and flourish, we have some good content on here to get us started, now we just need membership participation. I will continue to get the word out myself, but I also need your help.

Also, if anyone is good with photoshop, or web site building and design, get with me somehow, I'd like to discuss about creating some kind of logo for our seite to display on the home page, and I myself don't know the first thing about how to go about creating something like that. and I'd really like to have it made from scratch instead of stealing something online due to copyright concerns.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve the site, or on how to recruit members and participation, don't hesitate to let me know. I want this site to grow and flourish and the only way I can do that is with your help.

Thank You.

Regards,

Paul "The Pagan Heretic" (Site Owner/Moderator)

and can design a logo to display on the homepage. I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.

also, I really wish I could get some more members.

I've created groups and pages on all the popular social networking sites. Myspace/Facebook/Twitter/Gather and even made a video for Youtube.

and sent invitations to all my friends who I thought would be the most interested.

*sigh*

Since I first started this site the other day, I'e got some more work done to it, I have the recomended links/books page pretty much done. the only thing I need to work on is getting my old word document file of my BoS I started on when I first started down my path, linked up here for posterity, and I need to work on the "holidays" page and get some content on there.

one of the major milestones is I have the forum up and running, so if that sounds like something you'd be interested in then sign up for webs.com join this webpage and then get to posting!

also, is lookd like we have our first member!

so welcome! hope you like the site, and hopefully as I continue to work on this site I can get some support from those around me, and these site can grow and hopefully to be somewhat successful :-D

Thank You,

and also, keep in mind this site is not merely for the Wiccans, Asatru's, or any other Pagan Practioner who may be out there, but this is also for anyone interested in learning about new beliefs and who wishes to share thiers and to discuss religion and philosophy in general.

:-D

Once again, thanks.

Hello, Welcome to My Newest Project!

Hello, All.

Welcome To My Newest Project, after clicking a "website" link on one of my social networking accts and finding out that my old geocities site I created while I was a young and dumb teenager is now kuput, and that geocities is now defunct. I did a websearch for "Free Website Creation" and came upon freewebs and decided to try my hand at creating a new site. This site to feature my ideas about Religion and Spirituality, and as yet another venue to help explain my personal set of beliefs.  This is going to be a work in progress as I find time to work in this and learn how to navigate this site creation software and site.

I'm kinda interested on finding out if I cand figure out a way to create and to link a forum to this webpage, so that i can moderate hopefully a forum for healthy religious and philosophical debate and discussion that I can exzert control over.

That might be something to look forward too.

in the meantime, enjoy, whoever may stumble upon this.

Thank You.
